Costa Rica is known for having the BEST coffee in the world and some of it is grown just a few miles from our beach house. 

While visiting our home plan your trip to visit Café Diriá it is authentic. 100% pure, produced in the upper area of ​​the cantons of Hojancha, Nicoya and Santa Cruz, Guanacaste, Costa Rica.

It has a good balance between acidity, body and aroma that characterize it as a coffee of excellent quality and very liked by the people who consume it.

Café Diriá is prepared at the Matambú Mill of Coopepilangosta RL, a cooperative organization of small producers in the area. We are located in Hojancha, Guancaste, Costa Rica.

You will be welcomed  at  a typical “Chorotega” house that shows the legacy of pre-Columbian Costa Rican “Chorotega” native people, here different activities from years past in Costa Rica traditions will be presented to the guests.

There will be a stop in the place where coffee cherries are received and the process coffee goes through. Everyone of the step of the process will be clearly explained. 

Drying process will be explained by the showing of places or structures in which those occur.

In this step you will see the final process before coffee beans are packaged and, consequently put into the market. Also, you will be able to taste the feeling of coffee aroma, texture and even a future flavor through tasting.

the composting illustrates how we take advantage of coffee beans garbage in the organic fertilizers production by the use of worms. In that way you will appreciate the effort for the environment conservation and maximization of the resources.

You will enjoy some snacks accompanied by our Diriá Coffee in order to make known the excellent quality of their coffee.

You will have a shopping time;  find different products made by the local craftspeople, which shows the cultural richness.
